![]() On March 27, 1997, President Alexander Lukashenko set a decree, ¹217, to establish a standard for the President of the Republic to use when inside Belarus. It calls for the design of the National flag in a 1:1,2 ratio. Centered is the design of the Coat of Arms in a golden outline. The color of inside the arms is all red. On July 3, 1997, the standard was first displayed in Minsk, the capital of the Republic. The text of the decree (in Russian) see in russian version of this page |
